MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Challenges of a Changing World
Today, even though women have made tremendous advancements in women's issues, the need for reform and empowerment are ever present in our lives.

The social, educational and political achievements gained to date are just testaments to the talent and competence of women when afforded equal opportunities.

As visible partners in local, national and global issues, women have a definitive place in public and private forums.

It is unrealistic to assume that today's women can rest in the struggle for equality as modern challenges produces greater opportunities in this changing world.

We are grateful for the efforts and legacy bestowed to us by the notable 1888 suffragettes in our history.

We know where we have been; now it is our mission to be a strong voice on behalf of women and children, to give them the empowerment and opportunity to move forward in their pursuit of a better livelihood and to meet the challenges of a changing world.

Sincerely,

Mary Singletary
President
